I prefer Safari to FF except for the cookie bug which is a showstopper.

Not sure why search within form didn't work for me -- maybe it was something about the particular Web app I was using -- but that doesnt seem right. I...

Firefox was acting up for me and I'm sick of it. I'm using WebKit nightly builds until Chrome comes out. I agree that Safari should have all this but until then here are some hacks, all found on pimpmysafari.com:

- Remember last tab(s) closed (Safari only remembers last window closed)

http://kisonecat.com/software/forget-me-not/

- The Awesome Bar

Quicksilver + Safari Search Module + History (Search Contents) hotkey'd. OS X's search is better and faster than FF3's... at the moment.

- Search within form textareas

Worked for me? I just did a "find" for something included in this comment box, and it worked. I'm not sure if I'm reading the comment right.

- Quick Search shortcuts to search alternate/custom sites via URL bar (or build in something like Inquisitor)

I liked http://purefiction.net/keywurl/ better.
